Our History

Founded in 1896, our company has grown step by step from a regional locksmith’s workshop into an internationally active metalworking business. For decades, the production of wood-fired kitchen stoves has been at the heart of our work – and it continues to this day at the highest level of quality.

Throughout this journey, we have always preserved our craftsmanship: even today, most of our products are manufactured directly at our workshop in Steyr – created by skilled professionals with expertise, experience, and great attention to detail.

With Fred the mobile garden stove, we have consistently carried this tradition into the future: a stove designed for outdoor use, bringing the joy of cooking with wood and fire into the open air.
